GPA were invited to speak at the National Homecare Council’s Midlands Event, “Delivering Services in a Time of Austerity and Change”, which was held at the Leicester Marriott Hotel on 24th June 2013. The event was attended by over 50 people from 16 councils and various non-public sector providers. Our session topic was Homecare Re-ablement: Cost effectiveness - and can it work with Service Users with Dementia? Other presentations were made by Staffordshire County Council on their integrated commissioning across health and social care, CQC and CM2000 on technology to support re-ablement and the personalisation of adult social care.
