Homecare Re-ablement for people in receipt of homecare.

Limited evidence from a study in 2007 showed that Homecare Re-ablement services can benefit people who were in receipt of maintenance homecare support prior to their intervention. However, a formal study conducted in Denmark has now provided further evidence of the benefits in terms of the number of people regaining full independence and those who require a reduced level of ongoing support.

GPA have produced a paper which seeks to set out a summary of the study, its results and the potential implications for services across the UK.
