Extra Care Services: Cost Effectiveness

Extra Care forms a valuable part of the range of services that should be available to support people’s needs and particularly older adults. However, its role is exactly that, part of the range and not the only option as advocated by some. The report covers a number of areas but this discussion document seeks to focus on the cost effectiveness of Extra Care settings.
