Homecare re-ablement - Making it work for everyone, 25th May 2011

In November 2010 the Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley, allocated an additional £70m to PCTs for the advancement of re-ablement services, in particular those linked to hospital discharge, and this sum increases for 2011/12 and 2012/13.

GPA have been invited to present and chair this conference which addresses the main challenges faced by organisations in establishing effective services. It will also draw on contributions from the Social Policy Research Unit (University of York), the Social Care Institute for Excellence, Counsel and Care, the College of Occupational Therapists, and the Centre for Enabling Environments and Assistive Technology (York St John University)
