Fronting Up,  3rd to 5th August

This national conference, organised by the New Zealand Home Health Association, was to promote informed discussion and thinking about how the state, commissioners and providers can make the most of resources and communities to support people to live more healthy and independent lives.

GPA presented as a key note speaker on the evidence and approach developed in England as an example re-ablement services, chaired another session delivered by Prof. Matthew Parsons (University of Auckland) and made the closing address. Other contributions covered Integrated and shared care models, nursing clinical oversight, disability leadership, chronic condition management, and measuring quality assurance outcomes drawn from a range of other speakers.
